Legal aid to the stateless persons and persons under the risk of statelessness in obtaining the documents (birth certificates, passports and other ID documents).
Since June 2017 civic organization “The Tenth of April” (“Desyate Kvitnya”) has been providing free legal aid to the stateless persons and persons under the risk of statelessness in partnership with the UNHCR.
If you reside in Odesa or Odesa region and:
- You’ve never had documents confirming your citizenship,
- Are in a possession of the USSR passport or the passport issued by the unrecognized state
- Cannot regain your lost passport yourself,
- Cannot obtain birth certificate for your child,
- Are unaware about your citizenship
You can apply to the lawyer of the civic organization “The Tenth of April” (“Desyate Kvitnya”) for counselling, assistance in drafting of application to the state authorities and representation in state bodies, courts and consular offices of foreign states.
